Salle Piano CD Release Party Shots

Tuesday, February 14th, 2012

Happy Valentine’s Day !

Our CD Release Party and debut performance at Salle Piano Gallery in San Francisco was a GREAT success.  We got to play a vintage $175K Bosendorfer piano (!) and pluck a turn of the century art case piano as well.  The room sounded great with all the electronic and acoustic elements mixed together.  The icing was Daniel Durrett’s live visuals projected above us on the gallery wall.  Sweet!!  A great way to kick things off for Hammer Inventions.  The room was FULL of our devoted supporters.  Video of the set is coming soon and we are very inspired at the moment writing new pieces, coming up with ideas and concepts and other piano generated sound and textures.  We are thinking about adding harpsichord…and maybe other vintage electronic keyboard sampled instruments….

More Video is on the Way!  In the meantime, check out a couple short videos of ‘Bittersuite’ and ‘Vortex’
